Senecio herreianus, or string of beans is a great trailing houseplant! This fun plant is almost identical to the string of pearls, except for its slightly more oblong pearls.

  • Care: Care Difficulty: Very easy.
  • Light: Prefers bright indirect light, some full sun.
  • Water: Let soil dry completely, water about once a month.
  • Pet:Toxic to pets.

My String of pearls is so healthy and happy and is easy to care for

I love the Fernseed, I always get quality service and quality plants. I got a string of pearls in June, 2021, a 4 inch. This plant is very easy to care for, and its grown so much, it is in a 5 inch pot but the strings are over a foot long already! Very pleased. I use a spray bottle to keep the soil moderately moist, it really helps me to keep from overwatering this and most of my plants.
