Jobs at The Fernseed
Interested in working at Fernseed? We'd love to hear from you. We're an independent, locally-owned business—started as a plant shop in Tacoma, Wash. in 2019, expanded to floral with a focus on local sourcing in 2020, and opening a second location in Centralia, Wash. (in the old Pioneer West building) in 2026, where we're expanding again to include a garden center.
As an employer, Fernseed's goal is to offer the people on our team autonomy, flexibility, creativity, and opportunity. You want to grow here? Great! Our entire management team is made up of people who started as retail associates. You're content to simply cultivate a sense of community by helping customers pick out the right plant? Amazing! Keep showing up to your scheduled shifts and we can do that for 5 more years. The only thing we ask is that everyone wear close-toed shoes——for safety. 🥾
