Senecio rowleyanus, commonly known as string-of-pearls is a quirky succulent composed of small green bubbles which grow down a cascading stem.
CARE + MAINTENANCE
Light + temperature
Medium to bright indirect light.
Temperature: 65 - 72°F
Allow the soil to dry out entirely between watering. Water every 3-4 weeks, requires very little hands-on care.
Toxic to pets.
Avoid direct sunlight, this will cause the string of pearls plant to turn white and will burn the plant.
Why is my string of pearls shriveling?
Although the string of pearls is easy to over water, it is also easy to under-water. When the plant is breaking, shriveling, and losing its color this is due to lack of water or too much dry air. String of pearls prefer a pot with good drainage, so give the plant a good soak to avoid further damage.
