The Hoya Australis is the quintessential Hoya. Its quick-growing vines are adorned with round, waxy leaves, and can be allowed to trail over its container or trained to grow on a moss pole or trellis. The 'tricolor' variant of this popular Hoya contains splashes of color in the leaf, alternating from green to pink to white. Root rot

Picked up locally, I’m new to plants so if I had known at the time, I would’ve asked for a different one. The soil had a moldy smell to it when I got it, the soil was very wet. I thought it was a normal dirt smell, until I tried to figure out why the plant was starting to droop and die. I’m doing everything I can to save the remaining 2 vines. Very disappointing.

Root rot
