The Drosera capensis, also known as the Cape Sundew, is a carnivorous plant which captures bugs with the powerfully adhesive droplets at the end of their tentacles.
Drosera capensis go dormant in the winter, and require colder temperatures and lower light conditions for several months of the year. It may lose leaves, which is nothing to worry about. They do best in a nutritionally-deficient potting mix (such as orchid medium), and can thrive in a terrarium that traps humidity and heat.
