Sometimes known as the "Dragon Tree," Dracaena Marginata has the ability to grow very tall in ideal conditions. Indoors it can slowly grow to the size of a small tree, typically remaining under six feet tall. Dracaenas are known for being some of the easiest to care for indoor houseplants which require very little attention
CARE + MAINTENANCE
Light + temperature
Dracaena marginata requires only medium, indirect sunlight. Never expose your dracaena to direct sunlight for longer than an hour.
Maintain indoor temperatures of 65-70° F, avoid drafts.
Allow the Dracaena marginata to dry out entirely between watering. Leaves turn brown on the edges if over-watered. It is better to under-water your plant than to over-water it.
The dracaena plant is toxic to pets and humans if consumed. Please contact your veterinarian if you suspect that your cat or dog has eaten this plant.
Slow growth and pale, translucent leaves are a indication that your dracaena marginata has not been getting enough light.
According to NASA's 1989 "Clean Air Study", dracaena marginata plants are proven effective at naturally cleansing the air, removing toxins such as ammonia and formaldehyde.
