DETAILS
Dracaena deremensis 'Janet Craig' Compacta is a unique, densely foliage plant that grows slowly into a bush or tree shape. It's a great easy-care plant for lower light areas, and prefers infrequent watering.Dracaenas are known for being some of the easiest to care for indoor houseplants which require very little attention. They grow from an individual stalk, eventually becoming tall, slender trees.
CARE + MAINTENANCE
Light + temperature
Dracaena require only medium, indirect sunlight. Never expose your dracaena to direct sunlight for longer than an hour.
Maintain indoor temperatures of 65-70° F, avoid drafts.
Water requirements
Allow the dracaena to dry out entirely between watering. Leaves turn brown on the edges if over-watered. It is better to under-water your plant than to over-water it.
Toxicity
The dracaena plant is toxic to pets and humans if consumed. Please contact your veterinarian if you suspect that your cat or dog has eaten this plant.
Care tips
Slow growth and pale, translucent leaves are a indication that your dracaena has not been getting enough light.
Air purification
According to NASA's 1989 "Clean Air Study", dracaena plants are proven effective at naturally cleansing the air, removing toxins such as ammonia and formaldehyde.
