The Adenium Desert Rose is a unique succulent-like plant that, given the right care, will produce stunning flowers. When not flowering, it is still a fascinating houseplant, with a thick base and oval shaped leaves emerging from woody stems in an umbrella-like shape.
The Desert Rose stores water in its caudex, or the exposed root system at its base. Because of this, it is very sensitive to overwatering, and will appreciate good drainage and being allowed to dry out between waterings (particularly in the colder months, when it is dormant).
