The variegated Senecio herreianus, or String of Watermelon, is a beautiful trailing succulent that is related to other famous 'strings of things'—string of pearls, string of dolphins, etc. Its spherical, watermelon-like leaves are variegated with white, and brighter light will bring out this variegation.
As succulents, they will appreciate well-draining soil and will suffer when overwatered.
- Care Difficulty: A little finicky.
- Bright direct to bright indirect light.
