Enjoy a relaxing few hours in our garage classroom space designing and constructing your own open terrarium container garden. Fernseed staff will provide instruction on how to select materials, plants and accessories so you can build a mini landscape in a semi-enclosed vessel. We'll provide all the fixings in a "terrarium bar" set up that includes vessel choice (footed glass globe, dome vase with stopper, or open-topped glass vase), substrate supplies for planting, small plants, and miniscape accessories (rocks, driftwood, little animals, etc.).
These terrariums are designed to be easy care and not self contained. As you build your tiny plant world, our team will provide hands-on guidance for care based on your individual plant choice and vessel shape.
Attendees will take home their finished terrariums at the end of the class.
