The Mushroom Planter is made by Seattle-based maker Roots & Knots. The pot has images of mushrooms, insects, and other critters rendered in black on a tan speckled clay. We think this beautiful homage to the decay and beauty of a forest floor looks particularly good with ferns, philodendron, and other lush plants. It fits a 4" plant and features drainage.
AJ, the multidisciplinary artist behind Roots & Knots, draws on nature and nostalgia in their work, often juxtaposing traditionally 'scary' subjects with playful or soft motifs. Snakes on horses, the beauty and decay of a forest floor, and delicate insects are some of the subjects they have portrayed in their art.

Cute little planter that makes for a great addition to a rustic desk
I got this cute little guy mostly for the snake etched into the side. But After noticing how well it goes with my desk, and the drainage holes at the bottom, I knew I made a good choice with it. :)
