Keep warm on brisk fall and winter nights with this eco-friendly throw blanket. The name means "wander" in Icelandic, and the minimalistic design was inspired by Hallgrímskirkja, the Lutheran church and centerpiece of the city of Reykjavík.
by Seek & Swoon
Owner Jala Smith-Huys got the idea for Seek & Swoon after taking a two-month trip to Europe with her husband and two young sons. Each of her recycled knit throw blankets are inspired by the architecture and design of a specific place she has traveled to.
WHY WE LOVE IT
Every blanket is made in the U.S.A. from recycled cotton yarn that’s regenerated from apparel factories’ cutting room floors. This process saves energy and resources while strengthening the resurgence of the U.S. knitting industry. (Jala researched over 100 mills to find one that could support this idea while providing a blanket that will last!)
Materials: 75% recycled cotton, 25% polyester
Dimensions: 50"x 60"
Colors: cream, black
Designed in Portland, made in the U.S.A.
Will these blankets survive the washing machine and/or dryer?
Yes. You can machine wash these blankets on the cold/cool cycle and tumble dry on low/no heat.
